Why: Educate. Inform. Inspire.
Aim of the event is to inspire young girls and boys to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and particularly aviation.
The event will feature educational and fun activities for around 100+ girls and boys aged 15 to 18. You will be able to participate in hands-on activities such as a virtual tour in a flight simulator and talk first hand to pilots and air traffic controllers. You will also be able to fly a drone yourself within a special 'flight zone' 7m x 7m set up on the day. The day will also be filled with the opportunity to talk to experts who will help understand how to transform a passion for aviation into a job. In parallel, there will be a small career fair to learn what type of professions and careers in aviation are available to you.
Note that underage kids will need parents’ consent for taking photographs.
