Interactive workshops:
Flight Engineering Challenge (sponsored by Newton Project).
In this exciting hands-on activity, participants become aviation engineers by designing, crafting, and testing paper aeroplane wings in a 3D-printed fuselage. They explore aerodynamics, lift, drag, and stability while fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
Kinetic Energy Experiment (sponsored by Newton Project).
Explore the transformation of energy in this captivating experiment. Participants release a steel marble down a track, witnessing the conversion of potential energy into kinetic energy. Using a Pasco cart with sensors, they measure speed and distance, gaining hands-on insight into acceleration, momentum, and energy conservation
Flight Simulators (sponsored by Boeing).
Have you ever wondered what it's like to fly an airplane? Now is your chance! Experience the thrill of flying through our realistic flight simulators. Participants will take off from either a predetermined runway or one of their choosing. This activity offers insights into what it's like to be seated in the cockpit of a general aviation aircraft guided by an experienced instructor. Experience the adrenaline rush of take-off, navigate through the skies, and perform a smooth landing, all under the expert guidance of our instructor.
