Cate Brancart

Cate Brancart is a part of the GAMA Brussels team that represents the General Aviation (GA) manufacturing industry before the European institutions. Cate's focus is on policy and communications efforts to improve the conditions for GA in Europe, including better safety data, flight training and access to the new technologies.

Cate joined GAMA after attending the largest flight training school in Belgium, where she was responsible for communications, events and marketing as well as managing a GA airfield. In addition, she's a passionate aviator who co-owns a Piper Arrow, in which she won the Spa Air Rally competition in Belgium. A Belgian national, fluent in French, English and Flemish, Cate received her M.A. from City University in London, UK, and her B.A. from the Brussels Institute of Higher Studies of Social Communications (IHECS) in Belgium.

Cate is very involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within general aviation, a sector she is very passionate about. She represents AviAll - Aviation for All in most of the European General Aviation events and works hard on growing a common effort to better the industry
